Last month, Samsung upgraded the Samsung Wallet app for Galaxy smartphones in India with support for AU Small Finance Bank credit and debit cards. Now, the brand is updating its digital wallet with support for Yes Bank debit cards as well.

When we opened the Samsung Wallet app on our Galaxy S25 in India today, the What’s New section had a new card in the Promotions tab notifying users that the platform now supports debit cards from Yes Bank, as you can see in the images below.

Samsung Wallet now enables a wider audience to make tap-and-pay payments

With that, you can now add Yes Bank debit cards to Samsung Wallet and use your Galaxy phone to make payments at point of sale (POS) terminals. To make the payment, open the Samsung Wallet app, select the card you want to make the payment with, and tap the phone to the payment device.

In October, Samsung added four major features to Samsung Wallet in India, which you can check out here. With consistent and meaningful updates, Samsung is making the app more useful. It may increase the app's popularity and usage, helping Samsung capitalise on it in the long term.
