Meanwhile, Samsung's been churning out solid foldable phones for more than half a decade. As part of its Black Friday deals, Samsung US has elevated the trade-in values for iPhones being traded in for a Galaxy Z Fold 7, making it easier for you to make the shift.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 starts at $1,999 in the United States. Make no mistake about it, this is an expensive device, but if you're already holding on to a fairly recent iPhones, you can knock a decent chunk off the price.
Samsung is offering trade-in values of $635 for the iPhone 16 Pro Max, $460 for the iPhone 16 Pro, and $369 for the iPhone 16 Plus. Your iPhones from two years ago are also fetching a good value. It's offering $426 for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, $345 for the iPhone 15 Pro, and $314 for the iPhone 15 Plus.

The trade-in value is instantly knocked off the purchase price, so you'll only pay the difference at checkout. Once your brand new Galaxy Z Fold 7 arrives, you'll then have to send in your old iPhone to Samsung. It's as easy as that.
