Samsung TV Plus, the company's free, ad-supported TV streaming service, continues to increase its rather impressive lineup of channels.
The latest addition is from the Al Jazeera Media Network, which has launched its first Arabic-language free, ad-supported channel on Samsung TV Plus, called Al Jazeera World.
Al Jazeera World will initially be available to Samsung TV Plus users in the MENA region. The media company has said that it will eventually expand the channel to some European markets in the near future.
This channel will deliver curated content to Samsung TV Plus users, largely focused on travel-related documentaries as well as human stories from across cultures. It will also feature content from across the Al Jazeera network including from Al Jazeera Documentary, Al Jazeera Arabic, Al Jazeera 360 and AJ+ Arabi.
Millions of Samsung TV Plus users in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Egypt already have access to the content provided by Al Jazeera World. It will soon be available to users in the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Normay, Denmark, and Finland.
Samsung TV Plus has built up an impressive slate of content, making it one of the most widely used free TV streaming services. It provides access to over 3,500 free channels across 30 territories worldwide. That's in addition to thousands of on-demand shows and movies that are also accessible through the platform.
