The Galaxy Z Flip 3‘s international and factory-unlocked variant for the United States of America, which have the model numbers SM-F711B and SM-F711U1 respectively, are getting a new software update. It offers the June 2025 security patch, which fixes the security issues mentioned here, making the device more secure than before.
The update for the international variant is live in more than forty countries across Europe, North America, South America, and the Middle East. It carries firmware version F711BXXSEJYF1. That for the factory-unlocked variant has firmware version F711U1UESDKYF3. We expect it to reach other regions, including Asia, soon.
Top upgrade your Galaxy Z Flip 3 with the June 2025 security patch, you will have to go to Settings » Software update » Download and install. For some reason, if you don’t see an update or want to clean install, you can head to our firmware section, download the firmware file, and install it manually using Samsung’s Odin tool for Windows PC.
Samsung is expected to debut the stable version of Android 16-based One UI 8.0 with the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, which is set to take place on 9 July 2025. Soon after the launch, the brand may release it to eligible devices, which, as you might expect, includes the Galaxy Z Flip 3.
