Samsung can create some of the most entertaining ads in the industry, and the company is at it again. It recently launched a four-minute-long video to promote the Odyssey OLED monitor lineup, and it managed to put a smile on our faces.

The ad highlights some of the key Odyssey OLED characteristics, but in true Samsung fashion, it also tries to tell a story. It features live footage and CGI elements, including a cute CGI main character that almost sounds like an Animal Crossing NPC whenever it speaks. Check it out below.

Samsung's new ad celebrates the world's number one gaming monitor brand and showcases why the OLED lineup stands out. The ad consists of five smaller chapters, i.e., four levels and one bonus stage. Each of the first four levels focuses on a key Odyssey OLED feature:

    • Safeguard+ for enhanced cooling.
    • Glare-free.
    • PANTONE validation.
    • Slim Metal Design.

Near the end, Samsung showcases its ongoing Odyssey OLED monitor lineup, which consists of nine models from the SD (2024) and SF (2025) series.

But the star of the show appears to be the Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF), which Samsung released earlier this year for $1,299.

Incidentally, the G81SF monitor is now available at a $350 discount — at least in the USA.

The Odyssey OLED G8 boasts all the characteristics listed above, and more. Spec-wise, it has a 4K 240Hz panel with a response time of 0.03ms. It's also one of the best-looking Samsung monitors, so it's no wonder that the company picked it for the ad.

Interestingly, the ad also mentions the Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SF), which is not yet available in the USA and most other markets. Where available, the G60SF is cheaper than the Odyssey G8, despite its higher 500Hz refresh rate.

The ad could serve as a confirmation that Samsung may soon bring the 2025 Odyssey G6 to more markets. We'll keep you up to speed.
