Samsung is no stranger to launching the same device with different names in different markets. It consistently launches the same phones with different names in the Galaxy F and the Galaxy M series in the Indian subcontinent. And it is likely planning to repeat that strategy this month by launching a rebranded Galaxy M36.

Galaxy F36 is likely a rebranded Galaxy M36

Samsung has started teasing a new phone in India. It is the Galaxy F36, and the South Korean firm will sell it exclusively via Flipkart. The company is using the term Hi-FAI to desribe the upcoming phone, likely pointing towards AI features like Circle to Search, Gemini, and AI Enhanced Object Eraser. These are the features that are present on the Galaxy M36 that was launched in India two weeks ago.

The Galaxy F36 will likely be launched before the end of this month and will likely be priced similar to the Galaxy F36. The phone appeared in Google's Play Console database a few weeks ago, confirming the Exynos 1380 processor, 6GB RAM, abd Android 15 (One UI 7.0).

It likely has the same specifications and overall design as the Galaxy M36. If that is indeed the case, the Galaxy F36 will likely have a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. It could have a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 13MP selfie camera. It may be able to capture images and videos in 10-bit Super HDR.

The Galaxy M36 has a 5,000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging, so the Galaxy F36 will also likely have similar specifications. Its other features could include 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, NFC, and a microSD card slot. The Galaxy F36 could get six major Android OS updates.
