Last month, a tipster claimed that Samsung was planning to increase the prices of Galaxy A series smartphones in India, as a result of rising phone component prices. Well, it looks like the brand has finally taken the step.
On X, Abhishek Yadav has posted an image, which looks like Samsung India’s official communication with its partners, notifying them that the brand is increasing the prices of the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and the Galaxy F17.

According to the image, the new prices went into effect yesterday (5 January 2026), and they are live on Samsung's official website for India.
On a related note, increasing smartphone component prices, including those of displays, cameras, and memory, will affect Samsung's upcoming lineup of non-foldable flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S26 series, as well.
