Samsung’s latest version of One UI for Galaxy smartphones and tablets, One UI 8.5, brings a new Samsung Health app. It offers more detailed summaries, and soon, it may also provide you with noise readings around you to protect your hearing. While the brand is adding many features to its health and fitness tracking platform, it will also be taking away some.

Samsung has sent a notice in the Samsung Health app for Galaxy smartphones. It says that several content services provided in the ‘Fitness Program‘ tab will be discontinued with the release of a new version of the app in December. As such, when you try to access that content from an older version of the app, when the new one comes out, you may face errors.

Samsung has also revealed a list of what’s going away and what’s not. You can check it out below.

    • Programs offered through downloads in the Fitness Program will be discontinued.
    • Programs uploaded before December 31, 2022, will be discontinued.
    • Content available for real-time streaming will not be discontinued and will continue to be accessible.

At the moment, there's no information on whether the new version of the Samsung Health app that Samsung is talking about is the one that comes with One UI 8.5 or a different one. In the meantime, you can check out our video below, where we take you on an in-depth tour of One UI 8.5.
