Samsung launched two mid-range phones, the Galaxy A37 and the Galaxy A57, a few weeks ago. The company is now preparing to introduce more affordable Galaxy A series devices. Ahead of their launch, Samsung has confirmed the existence of the Galaxy A27.

Galaxy A27 confirmed by Samsung

The Galaxy A27, which has not been officially announced yet, has already appeared on Samsung Brazilâs website. It is listed among devices compatible with the Samsung Wallet app used for mobile payments, and was spotted by GalaxyClub. Interestingly, the company has also listed the Galaxy S25 Edge under its original name, the Galaxy S25 Slim.

A recent report suggests that the Galaxy A27 will feature a display with an Infinity-O design, an upgrade over the Infinity-U design used in the Galaxy A26. This means the phone will have a punch hole-style cutout for the front-facing camera, giving it a more modern look. The device is said to measure 162.3 x 78.6 x 7.9mm and feature a 6.7-inch display.

The Galaxy A27 is also rumored to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. It could feature a 50MP primary rear camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, it is expected to include an improved 12MP selfie camera.

The device could be powered by a 5,000mAh battery and support 25W fast wired charging. It will likely run Android 16 with One UI 8.5 out of the box. Samsung may also offer up to six years of operating system and security updates for the phone.
