ViewSonic has used Samsung Display’s QD-OLED panels for its monitors in the past. It looks like the brand has fallen in love with them as it has now launched one more monitor with the South Korean tech giant’s QD-OLED technology, the XG273E-2K-OLED.

ViewSonic has silently listed the XG273E-2K-OLED on its website for China. It features Samsung Displays’s QD-OLED panel, which is 26.5 inches inside. The display has a 2,560 x 1,440 pixels resolution and a whopping, 500Hz refresh rate, similar to Samsung’s Odyssey OLED G6.

According to ViewSonic, the XG273E-2K-OLED has a 0.03ms response time, the same as all the other QD-OLED monitors out there, a 300 cd/m2 typical and 1,000 cd/m2 peak brightness, and covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Being a gaming monitor, it supports variable refresh rate (VRR). However, the brand hasn’t mentioned AMD FreeSync or Nvidia G-Sync anywhere on the product listing or the brochure.

The ViewSonic XG273E-2K-OLED has 1x DisplayPort 1.4 port, 2x HDMI 2.1 ports, and 1x 3.5mm audio jack. The monitors stand has height, title, swivel, and pivot adjustments. Unfortunately, ViewSonic has announced pricing and availability details. Hopefully, the brand will reveal those details in the next few days.
