The Galaxy Z Fold 7 has been a major hit for Samsung. It quickly broke pre-order records and outsold this year's flip foldable, underscoring the incredible demand generated by the significant upgrades Samsung has introduced with this device.
It's been smooth sailing for the device since its launch, as many of its direct rivals have been limited to China, but one of them is now making its way to the United Kingdom and markets across Europe.
The Honor Magic V5 book-stye foldable was launched before the Galaxy Z Fold 7 just to claim the title of the world's thinnest foldable phone, knowing full well that Samsung has significantly slimmed down its upcoming device.
Even though the Magic V5 is quite thin, we've checked and it's not the world's thinnest, that's still the Galaxy Z Fold 7. However, the device still has quite a lot going for it that may make some customers prefer it over Samsung's option.
The Magic V5 is now available in the United Kingdom for £1,699.99 and for €1,999 in select markets across Europe. It's priced below the Galaxy Z Fold 7's £1,799 and €2,099 price tags likely to entice customers who may be weighing the two options to have another reason to pick up the Honor phone.
Samsung still enjoys its dominance in the United States, though, one of the most lucrative markets on the planet. Google has recently launched its new foldable there but it's not really a direct competitor to the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Its dominance there will only really be threatened if Apple launches its rumored foldable iPhone next year.
