The Galaxy Watch 8 series went on sale this past summer, running One UI 8 Watch. In August, Samsung confirmed that more Watch models will receive the update this year, but progress has been rather slow.
We're nearing the December, or the beginning of the end of 2025. The clock is ticking, but Samsung has yet to release One UI 8 Watch for all eligible smartwatches. A few models have been luckier than others, and the rollout has been rather messy.
Here is the timeline for One UI 8 Watch and, more importantly, these are the Samsung smartwatches that are now running One UI 8 Watch. This list will be updated as more models get updated.
The Watch 6 series received the update shortly after the beta program ended, so there is some hope that Samsung might be accelerating things.
The Galaxy Watch 5 series is still being beta-tested. And the Galaxy Watch 4/4Classic and Watch FE haven't received any One UI 8 Watch updates, beta or otherwise.
Whether Samsung will manage to bring One UI 8 Watch to all of the eligible models before the end of 2025 remains a mystery.
It's worth noting that it took two months for the beta program to conclude for the Galaxy Watch 6. And the Galaxy Watch 5 joined the beta program in early November.
We will keep you up to speed as soon as the stable One UI 8 Watch update reaches more models. You can refer to this article at any time. Stay tuned.
