On the face of it, One UI 8 may not seem like a significant upgrade compared to One UI 7, which brought a significant user interface overhaul for Samsung's custom software in addition to a plethora of new features.
There's more to One UI 8 than meets the eye, so our colleagues over at imeisource's YouTube channel have created a detailed One UI 8 vs One UI 7 video that helps you easily understand everything that's new in this update.
It's only been a couple of weeks since Samsung started rolling out the stable One UI 8 update to eligible devices. The new foldables, Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, were the first devices to ship with the firmware straight out of the box.
One of the more significant upgrades with One UI 8 that has flown under the radar a bit is the overhauling of many apps. Some of them have received both a user interface change and user experience upgrade.
Take Gallery, for example, which got one of the biggest visual changes in this update. Samsung Internet is another app that received visual improvements with One UI 8. The native Weather app has also got some pleasant UI changes.
While One UI 8 didn't really bring any new Galaxy AI features, many of the existing ones did receive functionality upgrades. You'll find them across Drawing Assist, Now Brief, and several other Galaxy AI features.
Check out the full video for an in-depth look at all of the changes. As always, don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more informative videos.
