Last week, Samsung started rolling out the beta version of One UI 8.5 to Galaxy phones. It brings a ton of visual changes and new features. One among them is a new design for the screen to check, download, and install software updates.

Well, the brand is now upgrading the Galaxy Wearable app’s screen for downloading the plugin it requires to connect to a new device, with a refreshed design. It not only looks more polished but also goes hand in hand with the look of One UI 8.5.

When you open the Galaxy Wearable app and start setting up a new Galaxy wearable device, the app downloads the plugin it requires to connect with the wearable. With One UI 8.0, this screen shows the download progress (as a percentage) inside a bubble with grains floating across it. Well, not anymore.

With One UI 8.5, the plugin download screen shows you a bubble with a gradient of colors inside and around it (via Tarun Vats). It looks more sophisticated and beautiful than the previous design. More importantly, it matches the looks of One UI 8.5. It also goes hand in hand with the Finishing Up screen.

In the last few days, Samsung has updated many of its apps for Galaxy phones to support One UI 8.5. Some of these updates have brought a new design that matches the One UI 8.5 theme, as well as new features. You can check it out in our video below.
