We recently reported the pricing of the Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7. While Samsung announced its new wireless speakers, it did not reveal their availability. It also did not explain its smart features and connectivity options in detail. It has now been revealed that they support Amazon's new-generation AI assistant, Alexa+.

PCWorld is reporting that the Music Studio 5 (LS50H) and the Music Studio 7 (LS70H) support Alexa+. It is Amazon's more capable and more conversational AI assistant. It is powered by Generative AI, so it feels more natural to talk to. Besides understanding you and the context of the whole conversation better, Alexa+ supports Agentic AI that does things for you on your behalf.

These Music Studio speakers also support Bixby and Google Gemini. So, if you don't prefer Alexa+ as your digital assistant, you can use other AI assistants. We recently reported how Bixby will soon get a major AI upgrade, powered by large language models (LLMs) and third-party integrations with the likes of Perplexity, The Weather Channel, and Uber.

The Music Studio 5 and the Music Studio 7 both have a button at the top. With one tap of the button, they start playing your favourite music from streaming services like Amazon Music, Spotify, and YouTube Music. Spotify Premium users can stream Hi-Res Audio that uses FLAC files at up to 24-bit/44.1kHz resolution.

The new wireless speakers also support AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, Google Cast, and Bluetooth. The Music Studio 7 even supports the Samsung Seamless Codec (SSC) when you play music via a Galaxy phone or tablet and a Bluetooth connection.
