Samsung's first tri-folding phone is finally official, and many are wondering which markets will get this exotic new device. As expected, Samsung isn’t launching the Galaxy Z TriFold very widely. It will go on sale in Korea on December 12 before gradually reaching five additional markets: China, Taiwan, Singapore, the UAE, and—yes—the USA.

The USA is the only Western market currently confirmed to receive the Galaxy Z TriFold, and its release timeline differs from the others. While those markets are expected to get the device by the end of the year, the US launch is planned for the first quarter of 2026. Samsung hasn’t offered specifics yet, but the company tells us it’s working to bring the device to stateside customers as early as possible.

Pricing outside of Korea is also a mystery at this time. In Korea, the TriFold will retail for 3,590,400 won, which translates to around $2,450 at current conversion rates. Hopefully, the price won’t get a major bump when the phone launches in other markets and stays around the $2,500 mark, though it’s best to keep an open mind.
