Last year, we learned that Samsung is developing a smartphone called the Galaxy A27, which will most likely arrive as a successor to the Galaxy A26. A few weeks ago, a leak about the device revealed details about its front camera. Now, we are getting to see the phone for the first time, thanks to its leaked renders, shedding light on its design.

A popular tipster, Steve H. McFly, and HotEUDeals have shared alleged renders of the Galaxy A27. As you can see, the biggest change it will offer in terms of design and display over the Galaxy A26 is that its screen will have a punch-hole instead of a notch for the front camera. That and thinner bezels make it look much more premium.

Redesigned camera rings, different dimensions

The Galaxy A27âs rear design seems to be almost identical to that of the Galaxy A26, except for one thing: the camera rings. While the camera rings on the current model have concentric circles, those on the upcoming one donât, which makes it look more sophisticated.

According to the leak, the Galaxy A27âs display measure will be around 6.7 inches, the same as the Galaxy A26. It also claims that the upcoming phone will measure 162.3 x 78.6 x 7.9mm, making it slightly shorter but also slightly wider and thicker than the current model.

The leaked Galaxy A27 renders also reveal that the phone will have three cameras at the rear with an LED flash, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a physical SIM card slot, a USB Type-C port, and a bottom-mounted speaker, and that will be available in black and lavender colors.

Considering that Samsung launched the Galaxy A26 in March and follows a yearly update cycle, the brand may launch the Galaxy A27 very soon. Until then, you may want to take a look at the recently launched Galaxy A57 and the Galaxy A37 in our video below.
