When Samsung released Good Lock globally earlier this week, things didn't go without a hitch. The app gave an error when users tried to install specific modules, and the launch was limited to the Galaxy Store.
Today, Good Lock behaves more like it should have in the first place. A couple of the modules that were unobtainable at first have become available through the Good Lock app. Furthermore, availability has expanded, and Galaxy device users can now download Good Lock from the Galaxy Store and the Play Store.
Good Lock still shows the “Something went wrong. Try again later” error at launch, but the Nice Shot and Keys Cafe modules are now available for download. Previously, they were missing in action.
As of this writing, the only Good Lock modules that exhibit installation errors are Dropship, Galaxy To Share, and RegiStar.
You will experience the same behavior and errors in Good Lock regardless of whether you download the app from the Play Store or the Galaxy Store, so if you've already acquired the app from Samsung's platform, you might want to stick with it. Switching to the Play Store release doesn't seem to make a difference.
Incidentally, the Good Lock global launch saw these issues addressed as Samsung resumed the One UI 7 rollout for the Galaxy S24 series. As you probably know, Samsung had to halt the update worldwide for reasons that aren't obvious, but the rollout resumed moments ago, at least in Korea.
We're guessing that the few Good Lock issues that are left will be addressed soon, so make sure you check your app frequently if you really need to use Dropship, Galaxy To Share, and RegiStar but can't at the moment.
