When I dial 112 (emergency call) it says unable to connect.. tried many times with same results.

that means you can not use because of band 1800,850

Maybe you mean 1900 & 850. dual band.. I hope somebody can come up with a tweak like the old other models where you just have to change RF filters to make it work on different network bands.

yes network band 1900 and 850 or 1800 and 900

so this is the problem if you solve fine if the phone support dual band no problem
