Earlier this month, Samsung launched a new set of smartphones with foldable displays, which has three devices, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. The brand started delivering these devices in its home country, South Korea, on 21 July 2025, and in the rest of the regions, on 25 July 2025. In Korea, the company offered the first software update to these devices on the first day of making them available to purchase. Well, now these devices in other regions are getting the first software update.

Samsung has started rolling out the first software update to the international variants of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. Unfortunately, the brand hasn’t revealed what these updates offer. It means that they certainly don’t come with new features. They may most likely have bug fixes and performance improvements. The updates for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE carry firmware versions F966BXXS2AYGG, F766BXXS2AYGD, and F761BXXS2AYG5 respectively.
