Last month, the Galaxy Watch 7 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra received the One UI 8 Watch beta update. While the Galaxy Watch Ultra received the stable One UI 8 Watch update a couple of weeks ago, the Galaxy Watch 7 didn't. Now, the Galaxy Watch 7 is getting the second One UI 8 Watch beta update.
The Galaxy Watch 7 has finally started getting (via Official Aptivi) the second One UI 8 Watch beta update in South Korea and the USA. The update comes with firmware version L3xxXXU1ZYH2 for the Bluetooth-only version and L3x5NKOU1ZYH2 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular variant in South Korea.
In the USA, the Wi-Fi + Cellular version of the smartwatch is getting the update with firmware version L3x5USQU1ZYH2. It is a 155MB update with bug fixes and performance improvements. It is still based on the May 2025 security patch, and not the August 2025 security patch.

The official changelog reveals that the new beta updatefixes an issue where outdoor cycling would not end automatically after it starts via automatic recognition. It also fixes a bug that stops the display from waking up when the wrist is rotated to check the time or notifications. Moreover, a bug that automatically rejected a call when simultaneous incoming calls are enabled.
If you are participating in the One UI 8 Watch Beta Program using your Galaxy Watch 7, you should check out the new update. To do that, open the Wearable app on your paired Android phone and navigate to Watch settings » Watch software update and tap Downlod and install. Once the update is downloaded, tap the Install now button to begin the installation process.
