Earlier this month, Samsung released One UI 8 Watch (Wear OS) to the Galaxy Watch 4 (and the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic). However, back then, the brand had offered it only in its home country, Korea. Well, the company is now rolling out the update in more regions.
Samsung has released the One UI 8 Watch update to the Galaxy Watch 4 in India and the US. Currently, the brand has made the update available only for the non-cellular (Wi-Fi + Bluetooth) variant of the smartwatch. The cellular model should get the update soon.
The latest firmware carries version R860XXU1JYK4. Along with One UI 8 Watch, it also brings the October 2025 security patch, which fixes many security issues.
To get the update, open the Galaxy Wearable app and go to Settings > Software update and tap Download and install. You can check out the complete list of features that One UI 8 Watch offers here.
