Samsung will reportedly launch four Galaxy S27 series phones early next year: the Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27+, Galaxy S27 Pro, and Galaxy S27 Ultra. The Galaxy S27 Pro, which is expected to share most of its specifications with the Ultra model, will reportedly feature a relatively smaller display.
A report from South Korean publication ETNews claims that the Galaxy S27 Pro, a new addition to Samsung’s traditional Galaxy S lineup, will feature a 6.47-inch OLED display. That would make it slightly larger than the Galaxy S27 but smaller than the Galaxy S27+ and the Galaxy S27 Ultra.
The report also claims that the Galaxy S27 Pro will share many of its features and specifications with the Ultra model, including the next-generation Snapdragon processor and Samsung’s Privacy Display technology.
Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 Edge in 2025 with a focus on a lightweight and ultra-slim design, but the phone reportedly saw weak consumer demand. As a result, Samsung did not follow it up with a new Edge model this year.
Instead, the company is expected to introduce the Galaxy S27 Pro in 2027. The device is reportedly aimed at users who want Ultra-level features in a smaller phone without the S Pen stylus.
Other recent reports claim that the Galaxy S27 Pro and the Galaxy S27 Ultra will feature the same rear camera setup, including a 200MP primary camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. Its battery capacity hasn't been revealed yet.
