The battery information for next year's Galaxy S26 Ultra has leaked courtesy of our friends over at GalaxyClub, and it seems like we are going to have to wait another year for a battery capacity upgrade. The Galaxy S26 Ultra uses a 5,000 mAh battery like all previous Galaxy S Ultra smartphones.
GalaxyClub has an impeccable track record when it comes to leaking details like these, so we can be pretty sure that Samsung won't surprise us when the Galaxy S26 series goes official next year. The charging speeds aren't mentioned, but we can assume we won't see any changes on that front either.
If the battery capacity will once again be 5,000 mAh, it goes without saying that Samsung will not be adapting the new silicon carbon battery tech, which can store more energy in the same physical space and is found in almost every new flagship phone Chinese manufacturers are launching these days. The Galaxy S25 Edge's battery is more densely packed than other Galaxy S25 models, but it is still a traditional lithium ion battery that offers no notable benefit.
