Samsung is making good on its promise to bring new Galaxy AI features from the Galaxy S26 lineup to existing devices. It has released new One UI 8.5 beta updates today that include these features for several devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy S24 series. The Galaxy S25 series has also received these features.
These Galaxy AI features include Creative Studio, Call Screening, an improved Photo Assist, and a more capable version of Audio Eraser.
Those who are using the One UI 8.5 beta on their Galaxy Z Fold 7 or Galaxy S24-series device can download the latest update from the Settings > Software update menu. Users still on One UI 8 will have to wait for the stable One UI 8.5 update to check out the new AI features.
These additions cover AI-powered call screening that can answer calls and provide transcripts, generative image editing and sticker creation tools in Creative Studio, support for third-party apps for Audio Eraser, and expanded image editing capabilities through Photo Assist.
