Samsung is developing multiple entry-level smartphones at the moment. Two among them are the Galaxy F17 5G and the Galaxy M17 5G, which are expected to be the rebranded variants of the Galaxy A17 5G, a budget phone that it launched last month. As such, the two upcoming phones may have the same specifications as the one the company recently launched.
Last week, a leak about the Galaxy M17 5G revealed that it will be similar to its A series siblings. Now, we have a leak about the Galaxy F17 5G, which sheds light on its specifications and suggests that it will have the same hardware as the Galaxy A17 5G.
According to a new leak about the Galaxy F17 5G, the phone has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It features the Exynos 1330 SoC and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging.
The report says that the phone has three cameras at the rear, a 50MP sensor with OIS as a primary camera, a 5MP sensor with ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP sensor with macro lens. At the front, there is a 13MP camera. It is dust and water resistance with IP54 rating and has a thickness of 7.5mm.
Interesting, the leak claims that Samsung will not ship the Galaxy F17 5G with a charger in the box, as it does with the Galaxy A17 5G. This could be one of the corners the brand will be cutting to offer it at a lower price than its A series sibling.
