Samsung has launched the One UI 8.5 beta program for the Galaxy Quantum 5, which is what it calls the Galaxy A55 in Korea. This is the first Galaxy A5x smartphone to get the One UI 8.5 beta.
Earlier today, Samsung also added the Galaxy A35 to the One UI 8.5 beta program. The Galaxy A56 isn't a part of the program at the time of writing. The Galaxy A56 missed out on the One UI 8 beta program even though it was made available for the Galaxy A55, and hopefully Samsung won't do the same this year.
The A55's One UI 8.5 beta program made its debut in Korea, and there's a good chance it will expand to at least one more market, with India the most likely candidate.
