Galaxy A54’s One UI 8 update reaches the US

Earlier this month, Samsung released a software update to the Galaxy A54 that offered One UI 8.0 (Android 16). Initially, the brand offered it in Korea, and then, in many countries around the globe, including India. Now, the company is rolling it out in the US.

On Samsung’s Community forum for the US, a user reports that their Galaxy A54, which is running on Cricket Wireless, has received the One UI 8 update, as you can see in the screenshot below. To get it, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

Samsung launched the Galaxy A54 in March 2023 with One UI 5 (Android 13) and promised to offer four OS upgrades to the device. With One UI 8 (Android 16), the brand has already offered three. The next major software update for the phone will offer One UI 8.5.
