Samsung is planning to launch a few more mid-range Galaxy phones. Those include the Galaxy M37 and Galaxy M47, which we recently reported on. Now, Samsung appears to be almost ready to launch the Galaxy A27, and it could come with a price hike.
According to tipster Roland Quandt, the Galaxy A27 will come in two memory configurations: 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage. The 128GB version will reportedly be priced at €349 in Europe, while the 256GB version will cost €439.
That makes them €50 and €70 more expensive, respectively, than the 128GB and 256GB versions of the Galaxy A26. It is likely due to significantly higher memory chip prices compared to last year. Prices in other countries and regions could vary depending on local taxes and currency exchange rates.
The phone will come in four colors: Black, Blue, Light Pink, and Mint.
Based on previous reports, the Galaxy A27 features a 6.7-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It features an Infinity-O display, which is an upgrade over the Galaxy A26's Infinity-U display.
It is expected to include a 50MP primary rear camera with OIS, a 5MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 12MP front-facing camera. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.
The Galaxy A27 will run Android 16-based One UI 8.5 out of the box and is expected to receive six generations of Android OS updates.
The phone also includes a side-mounted fingerprint reader, 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and a USB 2.0 Type-C port. It is also rated IP68 for dust and water resistance, an improvement over the Galaxy A26's IP67 rating.
