Samsung started rolling out the stable version of Android 15-based One UI 7.0 to Galaxy smartphone and tablets on 7 April 2025. It has been four months since then, and unfortunately, the brand hasn’t released it to all the eligible devices. One of them was the Galaxy A14 4G. That, fortunately, changed a few weeks ago when the company released the update to the device. However, the tech giant hadn’t rolled it out widely. Well, that’s changing too.

On Reddit, a Galaxy A14 LTE user reports that their device has received a software update that offers Android 15-based One UI 7.0. Going by the screenshot, it looks like the brand is offering the update to the variant of the phone that it sells in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, which has the model number SM-A145F. The update is 2,623.20MB in size and carries firmware version A145FXXU9DYG5. It also brings the May 2025 security patch.

To get the update, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install. If you don’t see an update after following these steps, then it means that Samsung is offering the update in phases and hasn’t made it available for your device yet.

If you are eager to experience the new software, you can get it from our firmware section and install it manually using Samsung’s Odin tool. However, we recommend you to stick with the over-the-air (OTA) update method as it is safer.
