Samsung’s next flagship chipset for mobile devices is expected to be the Exynos 2600, which the brand is said to use for the Galaxy S26 series. Recently, the SoC popped up on Geekbench, showing that it is way more powerful than the Exynos 2500 as well as Qualcomm’s last year’s flagship SoC for mobile devices, the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
However, it wasn’t as powerful as the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which Samsung may also use for the Galaxy S26 series. Well, a new benchmark suggests that it may not only be more powerful than the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 but also offer single-core CPU performance similar to the Apple M5, which is Apple’s latest chipset for tablets and laptops.
On X, @lafaiel has posted an image of an alleged Geekbench CPU test of the Exynos 2600. It shows that the chipset scored 4,217 points in the single-core test and 13,482 points in the multi-core test. You can check out the picture below.

In comparison, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 scored around 3,800 points in the single-core test and 12,100 points in the multi-core test. Whereas the Apple M5 scores around 4,200 and 17,800 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
However, we weren’t able to find this Exynos 2600 CPU test on Geekbench, most likely because it was performed with Geekbench Corporate. Since we can’t confirm the legitimacy of this screenshot, you should maintain a healthy skepticism about it.
