Apple's devices work seamlessly together, which is why many people are drawn to its walled garden. However, if you're in the Android ecosystem and use a laptop or PC running Windows, there's some good news for you. Microsoft is planning to make it much easier to copy and paste text between your Android phone and laptop or PC with a new feature.
The folks over at WindowsLatest found a new feature called ‘Access PC’s Clipboard' in Windows 11's Cross Device Experience service. This allows the PC's clipboard to be accessed on your phone. When you enable this feature, the text that you copy on your Windows 11 PC will be instantly available on your Galaxy phone's keyboard, and it appears on the suggestions strip whether you are using Gboard or Samsung Keyboard.

If you were wondering, this feature is different from the ‘Cross-Device Copy And Paste‘ feature that is available in the Windows Phone Link app. That is a two-way feature that makes the phone's and PC's clipboard available to each other. The new ‘Access PC Clipboard' feature is a one-way feature that makes the PC's clipboard accessible on your Galaxy or other Android smartphone.

This feature is currently available only on the latest Dev build of Windows 11. Needless to say, it only works if you have installed the Link To Windows app on your smartphone. Once the app is installed, sign into the same Microsoft account you are using on your laptop or PC, and enable the Clipboard History option from the PC's System settings (turn on the ‘Automatically Sync Text That I Copy' option).
People who are not running the Dev version of Windows 11 could get this new cross-device clipboard history syncing feature with a future Windows 11 update in the coming months.
