Samsung introduced a couple of new Galaxy AI features with the Galaxy S26 series and also enhanced some existing ones. As expected, these improvements are set to make their way to older devices through the One UI 8.5 update.
And it seems those running the One UI 8.5 beta on Galaxy S25-series phones won’t have to wait much longer to try them out. According to tipster Tarun Vats, these features could arrive with the next One UI 8.5 beta update.
Here are the features the next beta, which could go live as soon as April 20, will reportedly introduce:
Initially, it was suggested that Samsung might keep some features—especially Call Screening—exclusive to the Galaxy S26 series. The company later put those rumors to rest, confirming plans to bring these features to older devices with One UI 8.5.
While Samsung has only mentioned the Galaxy S25 by name so far, flagship devices going back at least to the Galaxy S24 series are also eligible. The company continues to show a willingness to bring existing customers along, rather than forcing upgrades to the latest flagships just to access new Galaxy AI features.

- Advanced Audio Eraser: This feature allows you to reduce the volume of unwanted sounds within apps like Instagram, Netflix, and YouTube. You can activate it directly from the Quick Panel and manually adjust the level of noise reduction.
- Call Screening: It uses on-device AI to answer calls on your behalf when you are busy or prefer not to talk. The AI asks for the caller's identity and the purpose of the call. It then saves a recording and provides a transcription so you can review the details when you are free.
- Creative Studio: This new app that allows users to design drawings, invitation cards, profile cards, stickers, and wallpapers. You can either doodle or use text prompts to generate content and apply various artistic effects.
- Photo Assist: The improved version of Photo Assist in One UI 8.5 enables image editing via text prompts. Users can import objects or people from other images and describe exactly how they want to merge them into the current project.
