Install the latest version of the BlackBerry® PlayBook™ OS to ensure you have access to the latest features and functionality on your BlackBerry® PlayBook™ tablet. Software updates are free, are performed over the air, over a Wi-Fi® connection, and take approximately 15 minutes to complete. You can also update your software by using the application loader in the BlackBerry® Desktop Software.
How do I update my software?
To update the software on your tablet, look for the software update notification in the status bar. Tap the notification to view the update details, then hit Download to download the update. If you don't see a software update notification in the status bar, you can check for software updates in the Settings menu.
