Audio Eraser, a Galaxy AI feature, has come a long way since it was first introduced with the Galaxy S25 series for noise control in saved content.

Samsung has improved it further with the Galaxy S26 series, now delivering real-time audio control even on live-streamed content.

Control your audio experience precisely

Audio Eraser now hands sound filtering for both recorded and live content. This is made possible by the AI sound engine that's integrated directly into the system. You can instantly control and adjust sound as it comes through, and thus reduce background noise no matter what you're watching.

The feature is easily accessible via the Quick Panel. Noise adjustments can be made without having to rewind or replay content. Advanced controls are also available if you prefer more granular control. For example, enable “Voice Focus” to make dialogue crystal clear even on live streams or use the “Strength” slider to reduce background noise.

It works by separating sound into six distinct layers, including voice, music, wind, nature, crowd, and other noises. The current enhancement expands these capabilities to third-party apps like Netflix, Instagram, and YouTube.

This enhancement significantly expands the utility of the feature across three of most widely used content platforms. Whether it's the latest video from your favorite blogger, a live stream from your favorite influencer, or a show on Netflix where you wish the dialogue was a bit clearer, Audio Eraser on the Galaxy S26 series is there to help you get the precise sound experience you want.
