One UI 9 is Samsung's next major firmware update and it will bring with it Android 17, the latest iteration of Android.
There are quite a few reasons you should be excited about this update. Our friends over at imeisource TV have put together a video highlighting the 5 reasons why you should be looking forward to this update.
One of the new One UI 9 features you should be excited about is within Quick Share. It's called Tap to share, and it will further simplify sharing images, videos, and other files.
You'll just need to tap your phone against another phone while Gallery, Quick Share, or the share panel is open. You can also use this feature to share your contact information by tapping your phone against another phone while on the home screen.
Galaxy AI gets improved with One UI 9 as well. It gets a new feature within the Create function which will automatically suggest prompts that you can use to make AI-assisted edits to photos. It will further expand the usability of Galaxy AI's photo editing features, as the more relevant prompts will be suggested automatically.
