Apple's desire to take things slow typically has it follow Samsung's moves a few years down the line. The company is going to do that with foldable phones too. The first foldable iPhone is expected in 2026 while Samsung's been selling them since 2019.

There's a new feature that Apple has planned for its 2025 iPad Pro that's set to arrive in a few months. This feature is old news for Samsung fans who've long used its top-of-the-line Galaxy S Ultra tablets.

iPad Pro to finally get a dual selfie camera setup

Bloomberg reports that the 2025 iPad Pro is going to have two front-facing cameras. This would be the first tablet from the company to provide users with a dual selfie camera setup on the front.

Samsung first added the dual selfie camera setup to its tablets with the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra that came out in 2022. Every Ultra variant that has been released since then, including the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra that was launched in September last year, has had two front cameras.

The current iPad Pro model has a single 12-megapixel selfie camera whereas the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra has one 12-megapixel f/2.2 wide angle and an additional 12-megapixel ultra-wide selfie camera. Apple's twist on this feature involves switching up the placement.

While the dual cameras are aligned in the landscape position on the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, the new iPad Pro is reportedly going to placed the second camera in the portrait position. This will enable users to have a selfie camera facing the right way regardless of the orientation they're using the tablet in.

It remains to be seen if Samsung will make any changes in this department on the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra due later this year, or if it will be business as usual.
