Thomas Richard Nides (born 1961) is a Managing Director and Vice Chairman of Morgan Stanley. He serves as a member of the Firm’s Management Committee and Operating Committee. Nides was previously the United States Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources, having been appointed by President Obama in 2010.
