A few months ago, Samsung revealed that it will bring an AI-powered health coach to Samsung Health this year, allowing users to make it easier to share their health and fitness insights with doctors. Now, that AI health coach has been spotted, thanks to a new leak.
A new feature called ‘Samsung Health Assistant' has been spotted by Android Authority in the latest beta version of Samsung Health. The feature is currently being tested internally by Samsung and is a part of the Health Assist section.
Once it rolls out, you can activate it inside Samsung Health by heading to Settings » Health Assist » Samsung Health Assistant. You can access it by clicking the message-shaped icon in the top right part of the screen. It is an AI-powered chatbot that answers questions about your fitness and health using data available inside Samsung Health.

The AI assistant will answer your questions based on your health and fitness data. It will also help you set fitness goals, track those goals, and offer wellness tips. If you don't know what to ask it, Samsung Health Assistant will display suggestions in pill-shaped UI elements floating above the text field.
You can ask it about your activity, Energy Score, nutrition, sleep, and stress. For example, you can ask it “How much did I sleep last night?” or “How many steps do I need to take daily?“
Samsung Health Assistant makes it clear that it can't diagnose medical conditions or offer treatments. However, the company is also working on a feature that can connect you with an actual doctor so that you can get expert-grade medical diagnosis, treatments, and guidance. It also allows you to subscribe to medications from Walgreens.
