Most Galaxy phone users probably have one or a few alarms in the Samsung Clock app. But did you know there is a hard limit to how many alarms you can set up in Samsung Clock? We've never tried reaching it, but a Reddit user has.

The Galaxy S24 owner by the Reddit name “Sernian” went on a journey to reach this limit. Judging by the screenshot they shared and the design of the Clock app icon, they conducted this experiment on the Galaxy S24 running One UI 7.

As it turns out, Samsung lets users create “only” 100 alarms. Why not 10, 99, or more than 100 alarms? Your guess is as good as ours. It seems like an arbitrary number Samsung chose for its app, but the limit should be high enough for virtually anyone.

Let's face it. The chances of someone needing more than 100 daily alarms are slim to none. And Samsung appears to have set a reasonably high limit, making this a non-issue and more like a fun little fact about One UI than anything else.

Now, if you are using the Samsung Clock app for daily alarms, keep in mind that you can use the snooze feature without limit. And you can set different snooze parameters for each alarm. Every alarm can be set to repeat endlessly after a predefined snooze period.

As such, you don't really need to create more than one alarm if you fear that you will snooze your way out of an early wake-up. Just one alarm set to repeat indefinitely will do in most situations.

But if you have to create separate alarms, here is a neat little feature Samsung added with One UI 7: You can set different volumes for each alarm. You can also assign different alarm background images and choose a different vibration pattern for each alarm.
