Working Conditions MTK 6223 CPU

Like on MTK 6225 CPU which we have discussed before, so being able to work with both the CPU requires three main conditions, namely:
1. Working voltage
2. Clock
3. Work orders

Differences that would look so striking on phones that use MTK 6223 CPU (in this comic on your phone G381i and HT Nexian G10) is where there is no IC Power as a major regulator of cell phone use MTK 6225 CPU. In this type of CPU has terintegrated Power management in the CPU itself.

In the layout in the Power Management Circuit visible contained in the CPU is MTK 6223. So that the CPU in addition to functioning as a data processor also functions as aregulator. For he is a regulator, then enable the form off and power on the input lines will vbat directly into the CPU.

Notice the layout of pins on MTK 6235 CPU follows:

As in the previous MTK CPU working conditions, then the terms of this work on any 6223 MTK are equally good or big name tegangannnya. The voltages are:

- Voltage FiO at 2.8v on pin B7

Input Voltage Out put this one of the main voltage needed by the CPU directly. If the voltage does not exist then the CPU can not work, and our phones will experience the death total.

- A sum of 1.8v vCore voltage 8V at pin A7

Stress is also a main voltage required by the CPU to be working.

- Voltage of 2.8v Vana 8V on pin C1

This internal voltage required by IC Power, although not a direct voltage to the CPU sufficient, but if the voltage is missing will cause the CPU can not work.

- Voltage of 2.8v Vmem 8V on pin B6

This voltage is needed by flash ic. If voltage is not there then ic flash as data storage device we will not be able terbooting by the CPU and the phone we would not be able to live.

Here is an example of the voltage measurement points MTK 6223

If there is one that does not stress out, then we can conclude that the regulator does not function to exclude one of these voltages. The most correct solution or by the rules is that you must perform the replacement of MTK, but if you want to do a little pengiritan without replacing the IC, then you can make jumpers from another large voltage equal voltage.

Clock source of the phone is a component that we call oscilator.

There are two types of clocks on our mobile phones as a CPU working conditions, namely:

- Sleep clock for 32.768Khz

Sleep Clock oscillator scheme which I capture the above can be found on page CPU. When we press on off the power ic will provide responses to sleep oscillator frequency so that the issue amounted to 32 768 Khz. This clock will be used by the CPU as one CPU working conditions to be working.

- RF clock of 26Mhz.

Clock frequencies of 26Mhz RF generated by the IC Rf which is derived by processing data from the RF oscillator clock. That is, if we perform measurements on the RF output to the CPU and Clock that we are not getting value for 26Mhz, then it is caused by the rf ic dysfunction or malfunction of the RF oscillator clock, so that should not produce output.

However please note, that in order to be able to work, Ic RF voltage VRF Requires registration 2.8v which is produced by a regulator, ie VRF Regulator. To be able to release output, then this regulator requires such a condition that we discussed earlier.
Measurement of RF clock and clock both sleep clock, clock or other clock later can be done by using the frequency counter.

Enable on the Enable regulators VXO above is sourced from the CPU. Ordered to work with the CPU voltage regulator 2.8v sebesat. if we get a case of VRF was not out at 2.8v, then the phone automatically we will die because the total absence due to supply voltage to generate RF rf ic clock to the CPU. Simple steps we can do if we get VRF cases did not come out with a voltage of 2.8v is doing jumpers from other voltage-to-voltage VRF, for example from Vmem voltage of 2.8v.
In some phones you'll probably be found where there is no regulator VRF, you do not need to bother with this. If not found an external regulator as shown above, then the most likely is the direct VRF Ic produced by Power or CPU that has been functioning as a regulator.

Some work orders actually indirectly I have written above ... shaped enable regulators. Enable that I have written previously are:

- On-off as to enable the workings of power ic.
During the process of flashing on mobile china, generally we have to press the on off button to respond to the cpu to do the booting process. That is, without pressing the on off well when performing the search process RX / TX and when the flashing, the flashing process itself is not going to happen.
Note Pin PWRKEY D3 point. This path is the path of the on off on off the entrance to the CPU.

- Enable VCO at 2.8v as to enable VRF Regulator
Enable is sourced from the CPU, this command is to order the VRF regulators to begin working out at 2.8v voltage VRF. course to be worked out then the regulator output requires input vbat and grounding. Without both of them then this output would not be out.

- There's one more job orders originating from the internal CPU to CPU itself is reset, this command at 2.8v. This gives the command to reset the CPU to start can work, provided all other conditions are perfect work, both the voltage and clock needed by the CPU.
Note the reset of the scheme in addition to the MTK 6223. Reset pin is at C3. If on MTK 6225 CPU we learned that this Reset ic Power comes from the CPU to the phone because there is no Power Ic, then this command comes from the CPU into the CPU itself.
Measurement of these work orders can be done using avo meter like when you do a voltage measurement

From the above discussion of the working conditions we can deduce some of the main employment requirements CPU chinese mobile phone with MTK CPU 6225, namely:
1. On Off
2. 2.8v FiO
3. VCore 1.8v
4. Vana 2.8v
5. Vmem 2.8v
6. VRF 2.8v
7. Rf 26Mhz Clock
8. Sleep Clock 32.768Khz
9. Enable VXO 2.8v
