This new tweak is called Wi-Fi Booster, and it makes a couple of interesting alterations to the Settings app’s Wi-Fi options. As a result, they become more useful in the process.
White"]The main function of the tweak is to reduce signal threshold at which Wi-Fi hotspots are visible in Settings. Hotspots with a perceived quality below a set threshold are not accessible to users by default, and so, they don’t try to connect to networks that Apple deems too far away. Wi-Fi Booster removes this threshold, and all network detected are presented to us.
There’s another feature of the tweak. It has the ability to check the Mac address of the router running the network. This is visible beneath the name of the network inside Settings.
