An alleged One UI 8 release roadmap has been making the rounds since yesterday. It lists specific dates for when the stable version will be released for eligible devices.
While this may have been exciting for everyone waiting to finally get One UI 8, it's best not to get too excited for a few reasons.
The leaked roadmap was posted on a third-party website that's not affiliated with Samsung in any way. There's also no indication that the data was obtained from some official portal or source. The website itself serves as an updated tracker for one specific market and doesn't necessarily reflect global roll out timelines.
It's easy enough to make predictions if you've been tracking how Samsung rolls out major updates. The company has itself confirmed that One UI 8's public release begins in September. It hasn't provided a concrete date as yet and hasn't revealed in what order the eligible devices will be updated and when.
It goes without saying that the Galaxy S25 series will be the first in line to receive the update with last year's foldables likely following close behind. The rollout when then be expanded to older flagships and foldables with various mid-range phones sprinkled in between.
Given Samsung's impressive pace with rollouts, it's not entirely impossible that we may see the vast majority of One UI 8 eligible devices being updated within September. Tablets may take a bit longer but that's to be expected.
So it's probably best to just sit back, relax, and wait for Samsung to do its thing. It's not like we have to wait for long now.

The wait is almost over
