AI has become the unifying factor across Samsung devices over the past year. You'll find it in everything from Galaxy devices to Samsung TVs, laptops, wearables, and even washing machines. It's all part of Samsung's vision to create proactive, intelligent experiences that make users' lives easier.
Samsung understandably focused a lot on its AI experiences at the IFA 2025 in Berlin earlier this month. We caught up with Samsung Europe CMO Benjamin Braun at the event to learn more about everything the company has achieved with AI so far and where it goes from here.
The full video interview with Benjamin Braun is now up on our YouTube channel. It's an insightful discussion about how Samsung is using AI to deliver new user experiences and how quickly its customers are embracing one of the biggest transformations in modern technology.
There is a perception that AI is becoming an overused buzzword, but Braun points out precisely how various Samsung devices across these different categories have vastly been improved thanks to artificial intelligence.
Whether that's using AI to remove unwanted objects in photos, AI-powered refrigerators not just providing recipes but step-by-step guidance or your washing machine detecting fabric types and soil levels to precisely optimize water, detergent, and energy usage, Samsung's AI is forever changing the way we interact with technology.
Braun also highlighted the impressive rate at which Galaxy AI, Samsung's suite of mobile AI products, has been adopted. More than 200 million people were using Galaxy AI by the end of last year and Samsung intends to hit 400 million by the end of 2025.
He added that the company is focused on making AI as intuitive, conversational and almost as human as possible so that the vast majority of users who may not be as tech forward as those who follow tech blogs or YouTube channels can extract its full potential AI.
It all circles back to the vision the company has had from day one of its AI journey and that is to democratize this technology for everyone. Samsung is working diligently to create an AI-backed ecosystem that delivers meaningful value in everyday life.
Do check out the full interview on our YouTube channel for Braun's amazing insights on what the future holds for Samsung's AI endeavors.
