Earlier this month, Samsung opened the Android 16-based One UI 8.0 Beta Program for the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Now, after almost two weeks, the brand is rolling out the second beta version of the new software to the device.

Samsung has released One UI 8 Beta 2 to the Galaxy Z Fold 6. It carries firmware version F956BXXU2ZYHB and is 928.26MB in size (via Tarun Vats), as you can see in the screenshot below.

The second beta version of One UI 8 for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 brings September 2025 security patch, as well as fixes for many bugs. You can check out the official changelog below.

    • Fixed Android Auto disconnection issue
    • Fixed cover screen widget error
    • Fixes camera preview disconnecting issue
    • Fixed zoom operation issue during Flex Mode video shooting
    • Fixed the issue of icon overlap in the pop-up folder of multi-window
    • Fixed the issue that only icons are displayed on the lock screen when notifications are received
    • Fixed the issue that the screen turns on later when unfolding

To update your Galaxy Z Fold 6 to One UI 8 Beta 2, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install.
