Last week, Samsung released the first beta version of One UI 8.5. It brings a plethora of visual upgrades and new features. Yesterday, we learned that the second beta version will bring more features to the Camera’s Pro mode as well as a new Camera Assistant app. Well, future beta versions of One UI 8.5 may bring even more features to the Camera
On X, @UniverseIce reveals that in the latest version of One UI 8.5 (we assume that the tipster is talking about a newer, unreleased, and leaked version of the software), the Camera app’s Photo mode lets you adjust the while balance. You can select white balance from below 3,000 kelvins (we assume from 1,000 kelvins), all the way up to 10,000 kelvins.

To access it, open the Camera app, go to the Photo mode, tap the icon with four dots in it, and select the icon saying WB. Unfortunately, the feature doesn’t work yet, most likely because it is still a test build. When it starts working, adjusting white balance when your phone doesn’t recognise it correctly or when you want to give your photos a certain look, will be possible.
At the moment, there’s no information if Samsung will offer it with the second One UI 8.5 beta. However, considering that the feature isn’t working properly, we think the brand will take its own sweet time to push the feature.
