The first trailer for the upcoming Spider-Man movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has been released, showing the superhero using a Samsung phone while hanging from a skyscraper. In previous Spider-Man films, the character was often seen using Sony Xperia phones, making the switch to a Galaxy device notable and good news for Samsung in terms of marketing.
The Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer opens with Spider-Man dangling from a skyscraper while using a Galaxy Z Flip series phone. He places the device face down on a metal surface (which is not recommended), then picks it up and starts scrolling through Instagram Reels, watching videos of his friend Ned and MJ. The footage appears to have erased the selfie camera cutout from the phoneâs inner display.

Filming for the latest Spider-Man movie began in August 2025. It is set to release in theaters worldwide on July 31. Disney is also working on a new Avengers film, Avengers: Doomsday for a release later this year, but unlike the previous two Avengers films, Spider-Man is not expected to make an appearance in this one.
