Good Lock modules are gradually being updated with One UI 8 support ahead of the wider public release of Samsung's latest software version.
The company today started rolling out an update for the Sound Assistant Good Lock module. The latest update adds support for One UI 8.
Samsung also released an update for the Game Booster+ module last week that added support for One UI 8. It's gradually bringing up all modules to support the latest software iteration ahead of its full-scale launch that's expected to begin next month.
Sound Assistant provides various personalization options for the volume settings on your Galaxy device. You can do things like customize the volume panel, change its colors, have individual controls for each app, and make precise adjustments to the volume controls.
Samsung has released version 8.1.00.5 of Sound Assistant. The changelog mentions that this update adds support for One UI 8, applies the latest UI changes to the volume panel customization, and improves the module's overall stability.
Several devices are running the One UI 8 beta currently, while the new foldables are the only ones shipping with the latest software out of the box. Samsung is expected to start rolling out One UI 8 to eligible devices in the near future, with the release likely starting over the next few weeks.
