Samsung seems to be finally bringing Qi2 wireless charging to its phones, starting with the Galaxy S26. It is also bringing several first-party cases and accessories with built-in magnets that align with the magnets in the upcoming phones. One such accessory is a Qi2 power bank.

An unreleased Samsung mobile accessory with model number EB-U2500 was spotted in the WPC (Wireless Power Consortium) database. Its name is Magnet Wireless Battery Pack, and it received the Qi2 certification on 5 December 2025. It is a 5,000mAh power bank that supports up to 15W wireless charging via the Qi2.1 standard. It comes in just one colour: light grey.

Since it has a built-in magnetic ring, it snaps into place and attaches magnetically to phones that support Qi2. It can top up the Galaxy S26 Ultra's rumoured 5,000mAh battery up to at least 50%, which should be enough to last for a few additional hours.

The HMD Skyline was the world's first Android phone with Qi2, and it was launched in 2024. A few months ago, Google launched the Pixel 10 series with Qi2 and built-in magnets. Now, Samsung will soon become the next Android smartphone brand to support Qi2 with the launch of the Galaxy S26 in the first quarter of 2026.
