In 2019, Samsung, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), launched the Samsung Global Goals app. It allowed people to donate money to address poverty, hunger, and other such things directly or indirectly, by watching advertisements.

Well, today, on the occasion of United Nations Day, Samsung has announced that over the last six years, Samsung Global Goals has accumulated over $22 million in donations. According to the brand, as of September 2025, the app had 50 million monthly active users.

In many countries around the world, Samsung ships Galaxy smartphones, tablets, and smartwatches with the Samsung Global Goals app pre-installed. Users of other Galaxy and Android devices can download the app from the Galaxy Store or Google Play Store.

In the Samsung Global Goals app, if you watch ads to donate money to a cause, Samsung will donate the same amount of money to the cause. Accumulating $22 million in donations for the betterment of the world in just six years is a great achievement for the brand.
